Vegan Dukan, India’s online marketplace for vegan and sustainable products, has announced the launch of vegan brand ‘Ultx’.
Founded by long-time vegan Sagar Mehta, the company has carved a niche for itself in the burgeoning plant-based industry in India by offering a comprehensive range of vegan products, and making them accessible for all.

In the first phase of launch, Vegan Dukan has rolled out two dairy alternative products – Ultx Ultimate Tea Coffee Whitener and Ultx Curd Culture.

The Ultx Ultimate Tea Coffee Whitener is a soy-milk based whitener in powder form, which has been developed keeping Indian tea and coffee drinkers in mind. Considering that curd is often something that vegans miss a lot after making the switch, this DIY soy curd culture is an easy way to enjoy the taste of curd even without dairy.
The product comes in a pack of 30 sachets. Each sachet can be used to make curd from one litre soy milk. The curd can then be used in a variety of veganized dishes such as Kadhi, Dhokla, curd rice or buttermilk, or can be had on its own.
How to use:
Take 1 liter soy milk (packaged recommended)
Heat it up to 60-70°c but do not boil it
Add one sachet of Soya Curd Culture
Stir well for 30-40 seconds
Cover it and place it in a warm place
Check after 6-8 hours, the curd should be set and ready to consume
Store the curd in a refrigerator and consume within 2-3 days.
