Atulya, a personal care brand of Beacon Bio Life Sciences Private Limited, has launched a variety of haircare products made from Veg Keratin and Wheat Protein. The new range, including hair shampoo, hair conditioner, hair oil, and hair mask, contains cruelty-free and vegan alternative to animal keratin.
The company claims that this is the first time that such a product has been launched in India. The keratin used in this product range is of plant origin unlike other keratin products, which are formulated with animal ingredients. The entire range is free from chemicals, parabens and sulphates.
Simultaneously with the launch of the new product range, Atulya is also running #SwitchtoVegKeratin Campaign to spread awareness about using Veg Keratin and its benefits.

Made from wheat protein, fenugreek, reetha, veg keratin, almond oil and brahmi, the new protein shampoo cleanses, nourishes and hydrates hair, giving a smooth feel to the hair. The conditioner is also made from organic ingredients to keep the hair strong and manageable, in addition to providing nutrition to hair. It is free from mineral oil, silicone, or any synthetic fragrance.
The new hair oil is made from wheat germ oil, veg keratin, almond oil, olive oil, coconut oil, black seed oil, hibiscus oil, brahmi, soyabean oil, bhringraj, sesame oil, and bergamot oil. The last product in the range – hair mask – repairs and improves the structure, shine, texture, and manageability of hair, and is made from wheat protein, fenugreek, hibiscus, veg. keratin, olive oil, and argan oil.
