Andhra Man Erects Bronze Statue of Deceased Pet Dog on its Death Anniversary

A lot has been said about the bond between humans and their pet dogs. It is always unbearable for humans to lose their beloved pets, whom they consider as their kids.

In a beautiful gesture to keep his pet dog’s memory alive, a man from Andhra Pradesh has erected a bronze statue of his canine on its 5th death anniversary.

Sunkara Jnana Prakasa Rao from Krishna district of the state lived with his dog for over nine years before it passed away five years ago. Since then, he and his family have been observing the pet’s death anniversary every year.

According to ANI, besides erecting the statue, the family offered special prayers and also arranged a lunch for the villagers.

Speaking to the news agency, Rao said, “We considered this animal as our own child. We brought up this animal for many years. It had been cooperative and loyal throughout its life. We are observing the fifth death anniversary today as it is our responsibility.”
