Celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni has made her debut in the Indian beauty and cosmetics market with the launch of Simple Nam. The vegan and sustainable beauty brand has introduced its first product today – Makeup Remover and Cleansing Towel – an eco friendly alternative to makeup removing wipes.
Designed in Scandinavia, the brand has formulated its products keeping in mind the requirements and lifestyle of Indian women, as well as the climate. The Simply Nam Makeup Remover Towel does not contain any chemicals and is made of a microfibre cloth. It is an eco-friendly reusable wipe that can remove makeup with just warm water. The company says that the towel thoroughly removes all types of makeup, including long-wear and waterproof formulas.
The Towel comes in a sustainable paper envelope and a magnetic reusable box which fits two makeup towels — efficient and sustainable, whilst making it safe for a machine wash upto 1,000 times depending on the frequency and lasts for 3-5 years.
According to the company, the makeup remover and cleansing towel has been designed with the Indian climate in mind. The towel is made with the thinnest possible polyester fabric, so that it dries quickly despite humid environments, or while drying it indoors.
The demand for vegan, cruelty free and eco-friendly cosmetics and skincare has been going up as consumers have become conscious of their choices and do not want to purchase products that could harm animals and environment.

The Simply Nam Makeup Remover will be available online at Sephora India and Simply Nam website, as well as in stores.
