Greenest, a leading homegrown plant based meat brand, is set to launch burgers and nuggets in the coming year. The company has carved a niche for itself with its Shami Kebabs, and has recently introduced its second product – Plant Based Keema – in the market.
Greenest Shami Kebabs and Keema are made from soy protein, split roasted chickpeas and natural flavourings. The Shami Kebabs are available in five flavours, including Salt and Pepper, Moroccan spices, Zesty Tandoori, Puraani Dilli and Peri Peri.
Greenest products are currently available through the company’s website in Delhi-NCR. The brand has recently collaborated with MOETS and Freshmenu, and is planning some more big ticket collaborations. In a conversation with The Vegan Indians, Gaurav Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO, Greenest, said, “Our products will soon be available on Amazon, Big Basket, Milk Basket, Grofers, select retail stores, cafes and restaurants. We also plan to enter Mumbai and Bangalore in the first half of 2021.”
As per the company, their high-protein products contain no preservatives, artificial flavourings, GMOs, cholesterol or trans fats. “All our products are completely clean and natural. They are made out of soy and chickpea protein and we are dabbling with other sources of protein too. We have seen positive traction on our Shami Kebabs with 30 percent consumers coming back within the second month. Our vision is to have the largest and most comprehensive portfolio of plant based meats in India and become a 100 crore brand within the next four years,” said Gaurav.
