Hyderabad-Based Nutrazee Launches Vegan Calcium and D3 Gummies

Nutrazee, a vegan supplement nutraceutical startup based in Hyderabad, has launched Calcium + Vitamin D gummies for children and adults. Nutrazee’s Calcium + D3 gummies help support bone health, teeth, and immune health.

Nutrazee’s gummies are 100% vegan and come in a natural orange flavor. They are easy to take alternatives to pills/chewable tablets/syrups. Nutrazee’s gummies are made of pectin (sourced from fruit), a plant-based alternate to animal-derived gelatin.

These gummies are gluten-free, non-GMO, with no added artificial colors, and free of common allergens, said a company statement.

Most Vitamin D supplements in the markets contain either Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) sourced from lanolin (sheep’s wool) or Vitamin D2 (Ergocalciferol), which is an inferior form of Vitamin D as it is less biologically active than D3.

Nutrazee’s Calcium + D3 gummies contain Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) sourced from a natural plant source called Lichen, which makes it suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

A serving of two gummies for kids and teenagers provides 200mg Calcium and 400 IU Vitamin D3 and a serving of three gummies for adults provides 300mg calcium and 600 IU Vitamin D3.

Nutrazee was founded by Jagadish Jain in late 2017. It launched its first product, multivitamin gummies, in early 2018 and added 12 products to its product line since then.

“I believe we have transformed the gummy vitamins market in India with our flagship multivitamin gummies product. When we launched our first product, there were only 2-3 brands catering to the vitamin gummy space, now we have more than a hundred brands competing in this space and to still remain the best selling in the competitive market shows the trust our customers have in us for their nutritional supplement needs,” said Jain.

Nutrazee is focused on developing innovative vegan supplements in general wellness, herbal, vitamin & minerals, and sports nutrition.

Nutrazee products are available across India through the brand website and all major eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Jiomart, and Tata 1mg.

Currently bootstrapped, Nutrazee plans to expand its retail network across major cities in India.
