Piperleaf Introduces Five New Vegan, Gluten-Free Chocolate Variants

Gurgaon-based artisanal vegan chocolate brand, Piperleaf, has announced the launch of five new plant based-milk and dark chocolate variants.

Made using milk derived from hazelnut and cashew, Piperleaf has rolled out new flavours such as Zesty Orange, Classic Coffee, Banana Walnut, Raspberry Cinnamon and Nut & Raisin, adding to its existing list.

These new bars come in a fruity fusion with a combination of rich cocoa and freeze-dried fruits, and are 100% vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free. The chocolates do not have any artificial additives, artificial flavours and colours, according to the company.

The artisanal chocolates are stone ground and prepared in small batches providing authentic taste and flavour, says the company.

“I struggled to find proper plant-based food alternatives for dairy, eggs, chocolates, etc.”, said Anshul Agarwal, the founder of Piperleaf, recalling his transition into veganism around 2019.

“To fill this void in the vegan food industry and to provide easy alternatives to those who wish to adopt a plant-based lifestyle, my team at Piperleaf is making continuous efforts to bring flavourful innovations to its customers such as Banana Walnut and Raspberry Cinnamon.”

The new flavours join the existing range including Classic Milk Chocolate, Mixed Seeds, Fruit and Nut and Dark Chocolates.

The new range of flavours is now available on the company’s website and multiple retail and e-commerce platforms across India.

Founded in 2020, Piperleaf envisions introducing more plant-based products to its range in the future to facilitate society’s smooth transition from dairy and unethical products to products that are plant-based and benefit the animals, environment and health alike.
