Beyond Meat, the pioneer in the global meat substitute market, has announced the launch of Beyond Chicken Tenders in select US restaurants.
The new product boasts of the same taste and texture as traditional chicken. It also cooks fine, with a crispy exterior and a succulent inside. Consumers will now find this 2021 Food and Beverage (FABI) award-winning product across select US restaurants.
As the demand for chicken increases globally, Beyond Meat is innovating constantly to come up with ethical and environmentally sustainable alternatives.
The US market is currently facing a shortage, a need gap Beyond Meat aims to fill. With restaurants struggling to meet the skyrocketing demands for chicken, the product comes as a saviour.
According to the company, Beyond Chicken Tenders are versatile and can be used in a variety of foods, such as salads, tacos, appetizers and entrées alike.
With a composition of 14g of protein per servings, the new Beyond Meat product is a good protein source and comes with 40% less saturated fat concentration when compared with conventional tenders.
The non-GMO product is produced using simple and clean plant-based ingredients like faba beans and peas, and has zero cholesterol content, and no antibiotics or hormones.
Beyond meat has come a long way since its 2012, and is best known for its Beyond Burgers. With its latest innovation making its way in the US restaurants, the company is hopeful of delivering the best-in-class vegan chicken product yet.

Beyond Meat’s vegan alternatives are available across 80 countries and 39,000 foodservice locations.
