Ingredients:
1 cup almonds
4 cups water
1 pinch salt (optional)
2 tsp dates syrup (optional)
Steps:
Soak almonds in filtered water for 6-8 hours or overnight as per your convenience. Make sure water completely covers the almonds
Put soaked almonds in a high speed blender and add 2 cups water (do not add all 4 cups water together)
Blend well and then add the remaining 2 cups of water
Blend for a few more minutes
Take a nut milk bag/cheese cloth/muslin cloth and pour the mixture through it into a large bowl
Squeeze it well and collect all the milk in the bowl
Almond milk is ready! Store it in the refrigerator in a glass bottle and use within 3-4 days
