What is it?
Urban Platter Oat Wow is a plant-based milk that is made of ingredients such as oats, sunflower oil, calcium carbonate, sea salt, gellan gum, and contains vitamins such as D2, B12 and B2. It is a good option for people with nut, soy or lactose allergy. The product is manufactured in Italy and is sold in India under the brand name of Urban Platter. It is available in three variants. We tried the classic one without any added flavours.
Our Take:
When cold, Urban Platter Oat Wow milk tastes excellent and can be consumed directly or by pouring into cereals and smoothies. The milk is naturally sweet due to oats, which makes it easy to avoid adding any sweetener. The problem comes when you try to heat it up.
We tried making regular milk tea with, but it curdled up every time. We also tried heating it separately but again the result was the same. It is not a good option if you want to add it to a recipe that involves heating or boiling. But for cold preparations, it is absolutely recommended! Urban Platter Oat Wow milk is available in one litre tetra pack and comes in an attractive packaging.
