Rice Fritters I Rice Pakoda

Preparation Time: 10 mins

Cooking Time: 20 mins

Serves:2-3

Ingredients:

2 cups boiled rice

5-6 tbsp gram flour (besan)

1 green chilli – chopped

1 onion – finely chopped

3 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp coriander powder (dhaniya powder)

½ tsp Cumin powder (jeera powder)

½ tsp red chilli powder

¼ tsp turmeric powder (haldi powder)

Salt to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

Steps:

Take a large sized bowl and add all ingredients

Add grated vegan cheese (optional)

Mix everything so that all ingredients combine well and form a thick batter

Heat oil

Make small patties of batter and deep fry them

Fry these on a medium flame till they become golden brown in colour

Take them out on a paper towel

Sprinkle chaat masala on top of the fritters

Serve with your favourite sauce or dip
