Vegan Pancake Recipe

Serves: 4


  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar, powdered
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavouring (optional)
  • 1 cup plant milk (we used almond)
  • 2 tbsp pancake syrup or maple syrup


  • In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix well
  • In a cup, add almond milk and vanilla. Stir well to combine
  • Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl and whisk it well till the batter becomes smooth
  • Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
  • Now, heat a non-stick pan and put some vegan butter or vegetable oil to grease the pan
  • Reduce the heat to medium and pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan
  • When bubbles start forming, flip the pancake and cook until golden brown
  • Top it with the syrup of your choice and fresh fruits
  • Serve immediately
